The Purves coaster set displays the Purves crest and tartan on a cork-backed coaster designed for regular use.
Set includes 4 coasters.
Purves (also spelled Purvis) is a Scottish Borders surname, believed to be territorial in origin from lands in Berwickshire; the crest carries the motto "Clarior E Tenebris" — "Brighter From Darkness."
Each 3.75" x 3.75" coaster has a natural cork base with a glossy full-color print, resistant to heat, scratches, and moisture, and simple to wipe clean.
It's a fitting gift for a Purves or Purvis relative, or anyone tracing family roots to the Scottish Borders.
Celtic Ancestry Gifts carries coasters and gifts for a wide range of Scottish and Irish surnames — search Purves or another family name to explore the collection.
