The Mowat clan crest and tartan are printed onto a set of four cork coasters, designed for anyone connected to the Mowat name.
Mowat traces back to the Norman "de Monte Alto," and the family later became established in Aberdeenshire and Caithness; fittingly, the motto Monte Alto translates to On a High Hill.
Each coaster measures 3.75" x 3.75" on a natural cork base that protects surfaces from heat, scratches, and moisture. The full-color crest design is printed with a glossy finish, and the set cleans easily with a damp cloth.
A set like this suits a family room, home bar, or study, and makes a thoughtful gift for someone researching Mowat genealogy.
